Making a difference (The Daily World)

Posted by: In: Site News

Sylvia Sawyer is up at all hours of the night, answering phone calls. She’s not an office assistant, or an emergency dispatcher. She’s a friendly voice on the other end of the line teenagers at the Juvenile Detention Center in Junction City can call when they’re feeling lonely.
