Imperium Renewables announced today that it has completed repairs and restarted production at its Grays Harbor Biodiesel plant, which had paused production after a glycerin tank exploded in December.

A 32-year-old Hoquiam man with a long criminal history must serve more than two years in prison after being caught in a stolen car. Timothy W. Stuart was ordered to serve 29 months in prison Monday for riding in a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission.

Despite significant decreases in tax revenue, the City of Hoquiam remained under budget without cutting services or staff.
