Nathan Burres pitched a five-hitter as Northwest Christian edged Hoquiam, 3-1, in a non-league baseball game Friday at Olympic Stadium. Hoquiam’s Matt Lyons and Ryan Gibson combined on a four-hitter. Lyons was particularly sharp, walking two and striking out four in his five-inning stint.
