As families sat down for a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, a Raymond clan is giving thanks that their patriarch is still alive because of the heroism of two Grays Harbor men.

Following a rough 2007-08 campaign, Hoquiam’s girls basketball fortunes are looking up this season. Lacking in size and particularly shy on experience, the Grizzlies endured a 2-18 season last year. While still very young, Hoquiam figures to fare better this season.
